Meditation for beginners

at the  Beighton Lifestyle   Centre

 All ages welcome

 6 week rolling course to learn the basics of relaxation and meditation.

 Come and learn how to fit gentle relaxation and meditations into your busy life.

No lifestyle changes, no pressure just ‘ how to relax simply’   

And don’t worry we won’t be sitting crossed legged!

 Starts Monday 12th May

7.30—8.30pm   just £4.00 each session

Just pop in for an hour of knitting and friendly Company.
 
Don’t worry if you can’t knit, we’ll show you. Come and knit, crochet, sew and make what every you wish.
 
First session we will be knitting for 
Sheffield’s premature baby unit, all 
double knit wool patterns will be provided.

 Knitting & Crochet for premature babies in Sheffield

bulletAs of April 2008 items in shortage are jackets/cardigans and baby blankets 24” square.

 

bulletSheffield Neo-natal unit no longer take bootees or mittens, any that are donated to them now are passed onto a local church who send them overseas.

 

bulletAny items made must be close knit or not a lacy pattern so babies cannot get their fingers caught up in the wool.

 Double knit wool is available at the Market in Crystal peaks for £1.50 a ball.

Usually a ball of double knit wool will enable you to knit around 7 or 8 baby hats. A similar ball of wool can also be bought from Wilkinsons within the Crystal Peaks shopping centre for around 90p.

 A limited number of Free patterns are available from reception or, a wider range are obtainable from the websites listed below;
