So you'd like an easy labour?....
it is possible with some forward planning and support.
For the past four or five years I have actively encouraged Mums to follow the protocol laid out in Dr Gowrie Motha's book 'Gentle Birth Method'. Together we work through the month by month guide, using the Bowen Technique, Reflexology and Reiki. I find that Mums usually experience healthier, more active pregnancies and also shorter less painful labours. If you are interested in following Dr Motha's programme, I can help you every step of the way. A full medical, obstetric and lifestyle consultation will take place on your first visit, so we can then start to arrange a course of treatments unique to your circumstances and needs. I am now an Associate GBM Practitioner which shows I am recognised by Dr Motha as practitioner who can support Mothers using her methods.

Because it works and we have the statistics to prove it!
Dr Motha presented a lecture and workshop at the Clinical Governance in Maternity Services meeting on 16/11/2001 at the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecologists. At this meeting she presented the data from the results of 248 mothers who had enrolled on to “The Jeyarani Way” Gentle Birth Method between 1997-2001. These results included: The mothers’ gestation ranged from 36 weeks (twins) to 43 weeks, with the majority of women (45.5%) giving birth at 40 weeks gestation.
